Berlin : Prison profiteer KONE attacked

On the 17th of November, a car of prison profiteer KONE was set on fire.
Combative solidarity with those persecuted and arrested by the Greek state!
Flaming greetings to Thunfisch (https://freethunfisch.blackblogs.org/), who was arrested on 10th November in Berlin!
Fire to the prisons, freedom for all prisoners!

The principle of punishment of bourgeois society is one that never forgets. All possible means are at the disposal of the state persecution. The press, which willingly serves as the mouthpiece of the pigs to publish accusations, photos and calls for denunciation, thereby reaching a broad public. The drooling after a good story, which should increase the sales figures of the smear sheet, not important on whose back this is carried out.

Thousands of lackeys who, by putting on their uniforms, roam the function of defending an inhuman system and are prepared to enter houses, to arrest people, to torture, to injure, to rape, to murder. Companies whose basic idea of existence is nothing other than the increase of profit, which therefore have no conscience to appeal to, and which invest in the construction of prisons, walls, in research for more sophisticated methods of oppression. The revolutionary attack on murderous conditions and the logic of property and profit through exploitation and oppression is not only direct action, but anchoring it in social struggles. Although there is nothing to be said against the pure act which gives a concrete answer to the respective atrocity of the existing, the revolution may only develop in the lifting of the isolation of individual militants* or cells and their connection with the people, the oppressed.

Those who, under the name “Organization for Revolutionary Self-Defense”, have committed attacks on Greek MAT units (January and November 2017, May 2014), the Mexican Embassy (July 2016) and the French Embassy (November 2016), have written in their texts about this very connection in which the armed struggle is an expression of the social movement. On 9th November, the Greek state arrested three people, one of whom was released a few days later, arrested and tried to interrogate them for hours, forcing a person to flee injured, on the grounds that they had identified them (as menbers of the Organization).

Since the change of government from Syriza to Nea Demokratia, the state has taken off its democratic and moderating mask and has set itself the goal of silencing the anarchist movement and fighting all forms of self-organization of the oppressed and excluded, in addition to the usual racist activity. It is not surprising that the new government in November is striving for the smashing of armed fighting groups. The last two months of the year are historically marked by anti-authoritarian and anarchist resistance, by resistance against the junta and the broad uprising of the Polytechneio in 1973, as well as by the revolt in December 2008 after the shooting of Alexis by a cop.

Wherever our eyes turn, even worldwide, we see protests and unrest flare up in various places. Revolts that unleash themselves and drag thousands of people onto the streets, ready to attack the symbols of humiliation. Social movements that negate every form of negotiation and representation. And from here, from Berlin, our mouths remain open to the readiness to respond to the violence of the system with violence and the rebellious moments, the breathing of solidarity and freedom and anger that seem to make stopping impossible. There is still a lot to do, in times when fascism, anti-feminism and authoritarian thinking are rampant, when countless people die in police cells like Oury Jalloh, when every last bit of something is exploited. And if this action means to set even a small sign of solidarity with the prisoners and injured of the revolts and struggles worldwide, then we do this because we do not want to stand by and do nothing. Every notch that the state tries to strike into the ranks of those who dare to question its omnipotence will reinforce us all the more that the destruction of violent relations is the only right thing to do.  And since it is not only the rulers who maintain them, but companies, the press, cops – they are legitimate targets.

That is why we set fire to a KONE van in Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg during the night from 17 to 18 November. KONE is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of elevators, escalators and door systems. They do not stop before a participation in the construction of prisons (https://attaque.noblogs.org/post/2017/03/19/luynes-aix-en-provence-bouches-du-rhone-liste-des-entreprises-qui-participent-a-la-construction-de-la-prison/).

Germany, (Berlin/Münster): Thunfisch in jail again!

This is not the first time that Thunfisch (tuna) has been banned behind walls. Almost three years ago, in November 2016, she was arrested in connection with the Rigaer94 solidarity demonstration in the summer of the same year and spent three months in pre-trial detention in the women‘s prison JVA-Lichtenberg in Berlin¹.

This morning (10.11.), around 8:00 a.m., Thunfisch was forced to get off a plane at Berlin-Schönefeld airport and was then arrested on the ground by three federal pigs, including a pig named Göhring (similar to Hermann Göring, one of the most powerful figures in the NSDAP). The arrest warrant was issued in January and is based on an investigation in Münster in 2016, accusing her of arson.

Around noon she was brought before the magistrate in the district court of Königs Wusterhausen / Wildau, who nodded off the existing arrest warrant. As a result, she was taken to the Luckau-Duben prison, a women’s prison in Brandenburg. She is expected to be transferred to NRW on Wednesday. To which prison exactly is still unclear.

As soon as there is something new, we will get back to you.

Thunfisch is happy about every form of solidarity.

Freedom for all prisoners!

Freiburg, Germany: Burn All Prisons and Those Who Build Them

During the night of Thursday, 24.10.2019, an Implenia Group company car was torched on the Tullastraße in Freiburg im Breisgau. Implenia is one of the largest construction companies in Switzerland and is internationally active. In Switzerland, the company is famous for the construction of the Bässlergut deportation prison. The Bässlergut is a prison with a penal system and deportation detention directly on the border with Germany. As part of the new legislation, part of it has now been converted into a so-called federal camp. These are further steps in the authoritarian management of refugees in Switzerland, in which the mass processing of people takes place in a centralized manner. Registration, administration and deportation is the motto.

Implenia is currently building an extension of the prison and is thus making a direct contribution to the expansion of the federal prison system. Over the past two years, Implenia has therefore repeatedly been the target of actions directed against a world of walls and borders. Unfortunately, these actions remain isolated in Switzerland and individual cities such as Berlin. We would like to spread this fight, draw attention to it and motivate more groups to focus on the prison profiteers.

The Squatting Days are currently taking place here in Freiburg. Houses are occupied and the profiteers of vacancy and gentrification are shown that they can no longer continue their inhuman work undisturbed. Whether it is repression through revaluation and eviction or through justice and imprisonment, the logic behind it is always the same.

Fiery greetings to the Anti-Prison Days in Berlin and Warsaw and to everyone behind the walls!

Hamburg, Germany: Letter from One of the Park Bench 3 from Holstenglacis Prison

Saturday August 10, 2019

Hello everyone !

It has now been a little over a month since we three of the Park Bench were arrested and, in a second time, two of us were taken into custody. In this letter, I would like to describe a little bit about my personal situation, here in jail. I can not say anything about the charges or the progress of the court process, because we can not communicate between people involved. I can only agree with the council not to indulge in speculation, gossip and panic.

The solidarity and support we receive here are wonderful and breathtaking. The many letters, the words of greetings, the photos and the gather give us strength and confidence. You are awesome.

Now, preventive detention. This means, here, at least during the first months, 23 hours of confinement in 10 square meters, with bed, table, chair, wardrobe, toilet and sink. An hour’s walk in the courtyard, in my case with the other prisoners on my floor, alternately morning or afternoon. We wake up at 6:30, with a loud alarm, lunch is at 11:30, dinner is served at 16:30 and must also be enough for breakfast, because in the morning there is only hot water or tea. Food is usually enough to make ends meet, but those who want a balanced diet depend on the “canteen” to buy things from the prison. Every Wednesday, the lists of orders, in German language, are collected the next day. Saturday, we will get our order. It’s not exactly cheap and it’s paid with the money from our account at the prison. On top of that there is the money we had in our pocket at the time of the arrest, the money sent from the outside and our insignificant salary, if we work during preventive detention. Unlike detention following a conviction, here work is not an obligation and we work mainly in prison services – cooking, cleaning, painting, laundry ….

Other “privileges” – a rental radio, a rental television, participation in sports groups, discussion circles, courses, etc. must be requested from the school management and, of course, all the prison bureaucracy works only in German. Processing of these requests takes at least a few weeks. The prison guards are extremely abrupt and all information on daily life in prison must be drawn through their noses, the questions annoy them and they give answers reluctantly and in anger; only a few speak English. Hamburg, Germany: SPIE Vehicle Torched in Solidarity with the Park Bench 3 & Rebellious Neighborhoods

via Anarchists Worldwide

Undoubtedly, the spaces in which we can move freely sometimes become narrower:
In Hamburg, where the special commissions announce in the media the alleged success of their surveillance teams, their video analyses, DNA sniffing and informer hotlines – everything to re-establish the illusion of their security that they lost in the Summer of 2017.

In Berlin, where every space is supposedly a terror nest, where people take their lives into their own hands instead of entrusting it to investors and real estate companies. Where the media present their puppet Interior Senator who hides his civil war army more democratically than his predecessor.

In Athens, where a fascist government finally wants to implement the purges that its EU and NATO partners have waited so long for. So that the city will become another paradise for investors and tourists. Like some districts in Hamburg, like some districts in Berlin and like every place where the modern form of capitalism eats through districts that are not yet as boring as the exclusive residences as the elites.

To secure its rule, the state relies on corporations to do their dirty work. But the fiery serpent of the anarchist revolt eats its way through these controversial territories on the trail of these companies, destroying whatever it finds.

On the night of September 4th, 2019, we destroyed with fire a vehicle belonging to the infamous prison profiteers SPIE in Hamburg-Wandsbeck.

This small gesture of solidarity goes to the Park Bench 3, to the people who defend Exarcheia against the attacks by the cops and to all who want to make the expected evictions in Berlin a disaster for the government there.

WITH A FREE HEART AND RESOLUTE HANDS

On the night of July 7, 2019, three anarchists were arrested in a park in Hamburg. They are accused of carrying incendiary devices. Two of them are in pre-trial detention, while the third is released on conditions. (more info: parkbanksolidarity.blackblogs.org

Why would the State freak out so much about a few unused litres of benzine and a lighter?

Why would the State feel threatened to the point that these basic, simple and widely accessible materials, could cause such a mass operation: one of the highest prosecution offices handling the case, months of preventive detention, a media spectacle of slander that sings victory about the arrest of three “extremists”?

Why would the State be worried about some matches tied around a fire-starter, when it has an ever growing and innovative arsenal at its disposal, which it uses without scruples, composed of technology, infrastructure, weapons, armies, a propaganda machine to create consensus and confusion, a population dependent and numbed by the compulsive consumption of uselessness?

Perhaps these simple tools, widely available and within everyone’s reach, are often accompanied by something much more powerful, that no statesman, soldier or scientist will ever grasp: what a free heart and resolute hands can accomplish. Continue reading

Germany: Prison Van Torched in Solidarity with Imprisoned and Fugitive Comrades in Bremen

via: actforfree

“The prison is looking for you”…”We have found you”
During the night of the 4th-5th of July we torched a Bremen JVA (Bremen Prison) truck in the fenced TÜV NORD parking lot in Bremen-Walle.
JVA Bremen is characterized by miserable conditions, the cells are overcrowded, rain leaks in and medical care is either extremely bad or completely denied.
But we do not want to make a plea for the reforming of criminals or even to strengthen the illusion that there is such a thing as a ‘humane’ or ‘just’ prison.
Our only concern regarding the system of confinement is to sabotage the prison industry! Because it is a structure that aims to break ‘resistant’ and unadapted subjects. The suicide rate in JVA Bremen during recent years proves this.
Cynically, the vehicle was adorned with a slogan, which is part of the advertising campaign to employ workers at JVA Bremen – “You are the key”, this is the role they have actually intended for us.
Our thoughts are with the comrades who are not with us right now. They sit within the architecture of the enemy, their existence is behind bars where they are punished by the deprivation of their freedom of movement.
But the fire was not only for them. We do not want to forget the people who escaped the inhumane idea of imprisonment. Those who have left everything behind and are now on the run.
But not only do we out here fight against the prison society. Even behind the walls people try to preserve their dignity and freedom. We also send solidarity greetings to them.
Freedom for all prisoners.

Italy: Solidarity with Andreas Krebs

There is also an German and Italian version of this text!
Our friend and companion Andreas is currently imprisoned in Naples (Italy). Since his imprisonment in Germany Andreas has been known as a rebellious prisoner. In April 2019 he was sentenced in Italy to 24 years in jail. In addition, Andreas has recently been diagnosed with kidney cancer. His health is deteriorating and we fear for his life. Actually, he should undergo surgery months ago, but the Italian authorities refuse to transfer him to a hospital.
Andreas was in the clutches of the German judicial machinery for years and he was in jail for a total of 16 years. He is a rebellious prisoner, participated in building the prisoners’ union (GGBO) behind bars, he went on hunger strike several times against the prison conditions and also participated in a solidarity hunger strike for the prisoners in Greece. To date he repeatedly publishes texts against the prison society, in which he describes everyday life in captivity.
In autumn 2014, after his release, he met his current wife Jutta. Both decided to spend a quiet retirement in the south of Italy. At the end of December 2016 there was a dispute with his former employer, who attacked Andreas and strangled him. Andreas stabbed him in self-defense with a penknife. Sadly, the victim died in the hospital three days later under mysterious circumstances, although it was said shortly after the act that he would survive.
